As the prime medical center in Israel, HMC has long-term and excellent skills in performing endovascular thrombectomy (EVT), systemic intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) and caring for patients with large vessel occlusion (LVO) strokes.

HMC will take part in the clinical development of AI tools to facilitate treatment of patients with LVO stroke. HMC is responsible for conduction of the validation phase of the clinical trial for the AI based models. HMC will treat consecutive patients with LVO stroke with EVT or IVT according to the outputs derived from the AI algorithms.
